89th Eastern Regional Convention - Hybrid

Greetings Brothers,

In accordance with Article III, Section 2.3 of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity – Constitution, the leadership of the Eastern Region announces the Eastern Region Convention of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated to be held April 8-11, 2021 and it will be HYBRID.  Some brothers will assemble at the LaGuardia Marriott in NYC.  Hotel information will be shared via AlphaElite Communities by February 12, 2021

The theme for the convention is "Raising the AlphaIQ, Onward and Upward!".  This will be a fully engaged convention where those online will get unique experience and will not just be a zoom meeting.  We will meet officially on Friday and Saturday but there will be events Thursday through Sunday.

Below are the registration rates (which includes a gift which will be sent to your chapter to deliver to you)

UNTIL MARCH 13, 2021

Alumni Regular - $100

College Regular - $50

Spring 2021 Candidate Fee College - $75

Spring 2021 Candidate Fee Alumni - $125

Neophyte Fall 2019-Fall 2020 - $0 (We will verify that you are in this group! If you register as an Alumni at this rate you CANNOT serve as a Delegate for your chapter. If you select this registration you cannot attend in person.)

Onsite (At the LaGuardia Marriott) - This registration includes 4 meals provided at the hotel. - $225 - There are limited spaces.

AFTER MARCH 13, 2021

Alumni Late - $175

College Late - $125

Neophyte Fall 2019-Fall 2020 Late - $50

Onsite (at the LaGuardia Marriott) - This registration includes 4 meals provided at the hotel - $325 - These are limited spaces.

On April 5th registration will close and all registered brothers will receive a link with the instructions on how to join the online convention.  Please note we are requiring all chapters to send their delegate strength.  At this convention we will elect the next Eastern Regional Vice President and Eastern Regional Assistant Vice President.  

As we go through these tough times we look forward to seeing you brothers virtually and execute the work of Alpha!  We continue to be the College of Friendship, The University of Brotherly Love and the School for the Better Making of Men.
